How can I deliver my CPD content to the clinics?

As a part of our 'Specialist-led Education' programme, specialists with specific CPD content to deliver can register on our platform as a 'CPD provider'. Read on to know how!

Our specialist-led education programme aims to create a platform where CPD providers (such as you) can connect with general practitioners in primary care clinics to deliver CPD content.

The process is simple—we have a platform that, as a visitor to the clinic, has been in use to connect, collaborate, and communicate with the doctors. We plan to use the same algorithm and platform, but for delivering your CPD content.

How do I register and book my CPD hours with the clinics?

Here are four simple steps in which you can deliver your CPD content to the GPs in primary care settings:

1. Contact us to establish your specialist profile:
The first step is to create a specialist profile on RxTro. This will not just be there for the clinics and GPs to see and connect for CPD hours, but also for patient referrals and networking.
2. Provide us with the details of the CPD content.
We have a QA team that plans to check, review, and create your profile.
3. Creating your profile on RxTro as a SLE provider (CPD provider)
Once our QA team approves, we will upgrade your profile to either 'CPD provider' or 'SLE expert'.
4. Book CPD slots with clinics:
The clinics have created CPD slots (4000+ as of now) in various primary care clinics across Australia. You can go ahead and book these slots to deliver your CPD content.

Specialist-led Education (2)

Do the clinics have special CPD slots created?

Specialist-led education focuses on both the specialists who deliver the CPD and the GPs who benefit from it. However, it's a win-win situation for both, which we discuss as we progress.

Since GPs have the ability to engage and deliver CPD at their clinics, they can take advantage of the SLE and allocate specific CPD slots for specialists to deliver their high-quality content.

What are the advantages of SLE for specialists (or for CPD providers)?

While the basic idea behind specialist-led education is to help doctors achieve their CPD hours, it comes with additional benefits to the specialists or the CPD providers:

  • Special CPD slots to increase GP engagement opportunities

The special CPD slots negate the need to stand in the queue and compete with drug reps and other visitors to the primary care clinics. The specialists can engage the GPs in primary care settings through the CPD slots allotted by the clinics especially for that purpose.

  • Brand and Clinic promotions

The CPD activities can help indirectly (or directly) to promote your brand, and clinic and give an opportunity to talk to the GPs about several things including the services you offer and how it can enrich patient care at large.

  • Enhanced Credibility and accreditation

Working with GPs for the CPD ensures that your CPD content is aligned with industry standards, accreditation requirements, and regulatory guidelines. That makes the programs more attractive to other GPs who want to have similar content delivered to their clinics and help in increasing your credibility amongst them.

  • Enhanced Networking

Partnering with GPs in their primary care settings can help in better networking with healthcare professionals and organisations, thereby expanding their outreach.
