      Why should I create CPD slots on RxTro?

      The new 50 hours of mandatory CPD are pushing many GPs over 55 years of age towards early retirement. Surveys and statistics abound, illuminating the reasons and methods by which general physicians and doctors in primary care settings, already overburdened by overcrowded clinics, face the challenge of logging those CPD hours. It's evident that GPs struggle to record the necessary CPD hours for various reasons:

      • Monetary issues

      • There is a lack of clarity regarding the definition of CPD hours.
      • or a simple lack of motivation.

      There are many such instances where a GP has travelled far and wide, attending GPCE conferences and seminars or paying money to enrol in courses that they can show as CPD hours. Everyone can see the confusion and chaos, yet the available solutions remain limited. There are innumerable CPD providers out there who would love to help out, and that's where connecting the two dots—the CPD providers and GPs—can work out well for everyone and create a win-win situation we all love to explore.

      A perfect solution to CPD woes

      While the '50' hours look daunting, dividing them into individual one-hour-a-week slots can create a workable solution for everyone. To do that, we need someone who can deliver these CPD sessions regularly, as well as face-to-face in a clinic.

      And that's when we came up with "Specialist-led Education, or SLE.". 

      What is specialist-led education?

      Specialist-led education is a term coined and applicable to the in-clinic CPD sessions planned through the RxTro platform. 

      SLE aims at bringing in CPD providers directly to your clinics to deliver CPD sessions to help you gain effective CPD hours.
